Remove the leading £ symbol from values which is extracted into RM as a black diamond with ? in the centre. Need a function that will allow for these types of characters to be easily removed.
I have developed other functions in the meantime to remove the first character but this is sometimes broken by a negative sign in front as well as spaces in between.
