Does Report Miner have the ability to do an external lookup? As in, can it take the source data and look at another file/database/xls/etc, match a key field to combine in additional data?

Astera Support 4 Yes it can do this. You will have to use the dataflow functionality to do this.
1)Export your remort model to dataflow.
2)Once using the dataflow designer, drag and drop the lookup transformation onto the diagram.
3)Configure lookup to use table/ file/ etc..
