I have to do a very simple transformation of the following kind: take 100 fields from excel and write them in CSV file. This is very simple except dragging 100 fields from Excel Source to Delimited Source is cumbersome. I wonder if you have a short cut?
This sounds like you are looking for the auto-mapping feature. If you drag a bolded node from a source onto a bolded node in a target, it will attempt to auto-map. If the fields are named the same, it will just connect them. If the destination layout is empty, it will copy the entire layout.
If you do this from an item in the toolbox, you will see the mapping port light up red while holding the mouse button down (i.e. still in the process of a drag-n-drop). This will insert the action in between which will save you from having to disconnect and re-map everything. You can also do this in reverse by right-clicking on an action you wish to get rid of and select "delete and reroute maps".
