In the database browser, running against a MySQL database - the error above is thrown - added a specific date format to the tools/dataformat

  Yes, on Database Browser tab, expand tables, right click on specific table, select Display Record -

  Statement is 

  SELECT *
  FROM eduapptest.ed_users;

  Resolved - mysql does not ignore empty string datetime fields - yeah, why should it.
