The underlying schema of a table has changed. In my case some fields are being dropped. I have not mapped anything to those fields. How do I remove them from the Database Table Destination layout without having to delete and remap everything? I went into properties and hit the refresh button - I would have expected that to have updated the schema - however it did not.

It appears that if you go into the properties and view the schema on the page where you select the database the schema actually gets updated. I am unable to refresh the schema any other way that I can find. There needs to be a menu option to Refresh Schema that would repopulate the target database table destination with the new schema while keeping any existing mappings that are still valid (IE the field still exist).

You should be able to hit the "refresh" button on the layout page and have that reflect the updated schema. The only case where I think it does not do this in the case of Salesforce, where we cache the schema. In these cases, you should be able to highlight the row in the layout and click your "delete" key on the keyboard.
Hmm - that was what I expected to see. I will have to try this again when I get a chance. I was connected to MS SQL Server since I could not get the MySQL connectivity to work.
