Could you please provide instructions on making the Source and Destination filenames dynamic in a WorkFlow?
This way when a file is dropped in the specified directory it will pick it up, process it and then save it out with the same name(or same name with date/jobID info) at a different location.
You're going to want to use the ContextInfo component from the toolbox. Drop this on a workflow. Then, in the dataflow you have on the diagram, open the properties and navigate to the parameters and connections properties page. Replace the source you have set in the dataflow with the what is coming from the ContextInfo: i.e. $ContextInfo1.DroppedFilePath. Now, when you run the workflow, it will replace the dataflow's source action's filepath with what ever the dropped file is.
I'll post again and attach an example.
I tried what you state here and it did make the source dynamic but it still will not process because it says the file is in use by another program. I can assure you that it is not, and if I manually load the same file into the DataFlow it works fine.
