When setting the "From" address in the Send Mail task in Centerprise, you may find that emails received still appear with whatever was supplied as a credential for the SMTP server used to send the email. This is due to server itself . Some SMTP servers will atomically rewrite the from address to the actual address sending the mail in order to help prevent spam. Gmail is a good example of this.
Changing the Display Name
In order to change the way the email is displayed, you can write the From address as follows:
"John Smith" <me@mycompny.com>
In most email clients, this will cause the recipient to see John Smith as the person sending the email. It will have no effect on the actual address if the SMTP server is indeed changing the from address.
